A Bulgarian legend in rally motorsport and a Master of Sport — Bulgaria's first European Rally Champion (1994). Pavel honed his skills at the finest rally school in the world, the same institution that produced Sebastian Loeb and Sebastian Ogier, in France.

He has more than 20 years of experience as a professional rally driver. Pavel Jekov is a multiple Bulgarian champion across various motorsport disciplines, including circuit racing and hillclimb. He has been a long-standing member of the Bulgarian national motorsport team, owing to his outstanding results at competitions in Bulgaria and abroad, including first-place finishes at gruelling rallies in Halkidiki and Cyprus.

In 1990 he acquired an Audi Coupe Quattro — at the time one of the most powerful and advanced cars available — and with it became Bulgarian champion in 1991, earning the title “Motorsportsman No. 1 in Bulgaria”.

In 1995, with the support of the Bulgarian Automobile Sports Federation (BFAS), he founded Bulgaria's first professional Safe and Advanced Driving Academy.

Among his graduates are multiple Bulgarian champions with outstanding results at home and abroad: Rumen Dunev, Nikolay Zlatkov, Radoslav Kozlekov, Denislav Shishev, Sava Dimitrov, and Dimitar Stoychev.

Vasil Jekov

Son and student of European Rally Champion Pavel Jekov. To keep him away from the demanding world of motorsport, his parents sent him to the USA at just 14 years old, where he continued his education. There he graduated and simultaneously specialised, completing an advanced and safe driving course at a professional academy in the USA.

After 12 years, he returned to Bulgaria and took over his father's Rally Academy.

Vasil launched his rally racing career in 2014, competing in Rally Bulgaria 2014 and Rally Sliven 2014 in his father's legendary Mazda 323 4WD. In 2015, self-funded, he entered the Hyundai Racing Trophy rally series — winning Rally Sredna Gora 2015, a round of the European Championship, by a commanding margin. He won his second outing at Rally Sibiu, Romania 2015 by the same margin. He lined up with co-driver Alex Raeva — well-known singer and TV presenter — at Rally Bulgaria 2016.

Vasil operates at the highest professional level, leading the practical safe and advanced driving sessions at the Academy and training rally drivers and co-drivers.

Our mission is to raise the standard of safe driving
