The Academy

The Pavel Jekov Safe and Advanced Driving Academy is Bulgaria's first professional driving academy, founded in 1995 with over 30 years of history.

Training follows a French methodology developed specifically by motorsport instructors, physicists and automotive engineers, refined for easy absorption by educator and Bulgaria's first European Rally Champion — Pavel Jekov.

The practical element is led by professional safe and advanced driving instructor Vasil Jekov — a specialist certified in the USA and a competitive rally driver.

The Academy has a dedicated track with a special surface that simulates snow and rain, helping students build the reflexes needed for full vehicle control — and to overcome the fear and panic that can arise in a slide situation.

Safe driving training combines theory with specially designed practical exercises that instil the correct reflexes for full vehicle control on all surface types and in all weather conditions. The effect of training is substantial, and the likelihood of being involved in an accident is reduced to almost zero.

The Academy delivers training for businesses whose employees drive company vehicles, with the aim of protecting their lives and health, reducing fuel consumption, and minimising vehicle wear.

The Academy also trains professional rally drivers — among them multiple Bulgarian champions with outstanding results at home and abroad, including Rumen Dunev, Nikolay Zlatkov, Radoslav Kozlekov, Denislav Shishev, and Sava Dimitrov.
